Spirit Week 2/3 - 2/7

Monday: Pajamas and Stuffie Day

Tuesday: Creative Head Day

Wednesday: Twin Day

Thursday: Color Block Day ( K-Red 1st-Orange 2nd-Blue 3rd- Purple 4th-Yellow 5th- Green)

Friday: Show your love (for the PTA and the Valentine’s Dance) - wear red, white or pink

Staying Healthy

We’ve seen an uptick in the number of students with the stomach flu. Washing hands and covering coughs are effective ways to stop the spread of germs. Students can always wash their hands in the restrooms before they eat. Thank you for taking some time to review healthy habits with your child.

LCAP survey is OPEN

The District is updating the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan). Your responses to the survey will guide the update of our District plan for the 2025-26 school year. Parents, please click on your unique survey link that was sent to your email address on Jan. 27. Your survey link is unique to your household and only one parent/guardian can complete it. Your responses are confidential. Students in grades 4-8 will also be taking the LCAP survey. More information found here: mvwsd.org/LCAP

Students have set a goal of 70% participation in the LCAP survey. All students will receive an extra recess/dance party if we meet our goal. Thanks for doing your part by completing the survey! The survey closes on 2/14.

Thank you!

Pieter Dolmans
