Landels News

Dear Landels Families,

The end of the year is always a special time - students participate in end-of-year activities and performances that highlight their developmental growth, both academically and socially. I’m so proud of our 2nd graders for their play performances and our 5th graders for their ability to embody their historical figure during their living history performance.

Field Day

Field day is on Wednesday, 5/28 from 8:30-10:10 for all students. Students will be outside for 1 hour and 40 minutes in addition to lunch/recess. Please make sure to send students with water bottles and hats or sunscreen.

Chromebook Returns

Students in 2nd grade, 4th grade, and any student not returning to the district next year need to turn in the Chromebook assigned to them by the last day of school. You may begin returning chromebooks to your teacher immediately. Students can still access their Clever dashboard from any non-school issued device. All other students may keep their Chromebooks over the summer.

Volunteer Badges

Thank you to all the volunteers for your hours of service. Landels is stronger because of you! Volunteers do not need to turn in their badges this year. A new badge will be provided for those interested in getting badged next year. Be on the lookout for the updated MVWSD volunteer guidelines. We look forward to the opportunity to expand volunteer opportunities at Landels.

If your child will not be returning to MVWSD next school year, please contact Ms. Ann at [email protected] or by calling 650-526-3520 to request the student withdrawal form that needs to be filled out and turned in.

Thank you!

Pieter Dolmans
