Message from our principal:

Dear Landels families,

What a successful first two days back in the classroom! We are so proud of all of our staff, parents and students! Parents, thank you SO much for all you have done to help prepare your children for the first two days back in the classroom.  We had a very calm and smooth transition.

Yesterday we began opening our schools for in-person learning for the first phase of students whose families have selected “Option B/Blended” in the learning options survey. For a video of the day, click here: https://vimeo.com/525844061.

A few important reminders:

  • Fill out your OKtoReopen Screening form that you will receive via email or text. This form needs to be completed everyday by 7:45am.
  • Please arrive on time and remember to stay in the car while your child gets out.
  • All staff and students on campus MUST wear masks at all times; maintain social distancing; and wash their hands often.
  • No visitors allowed on campus.

Landels families, join me today, Friday, March 19 at 5:30pm for our Career Speaker Series. Our speakers will share what is involved in their job, things they enjoy about their job and any training and education that was necessary. Register Here

Women’s History Month

In the month of March, we are celebrating Women’s History. BetterTogether recognizes the people, movements, and ideas that challenge expectations and gender stereotypes that negatively affect us all. From women’s suffrage to the gender equality movements of modern day, it has become clear that when we all fight gender inequality, we all win. Celebrate this month by having meaningful conversations with your students, your children, and your fellow s(heroes). In addition to the infographic, this month we will also be highlighting amazing women from our organization and learning about the s(heroes) that have inspired their own commitment to gender equality.

For a closer look at this month’s infographic, click on the attached flyers or visit https://www.mvwsd.org/bettertogetherMVWSD.
