Second trimester report cards will be sent home by email this Friday, March 8th. If you have any questions about your child’s report card, please contact your child’s teacher.
CAASPP Testing
Statewide testing is almost upon us. It is very important that all 3rd-5th graders are present for testing. Not only is this an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of grade-level content, but the data also helps us to improve our instruction and plan for intervention. Please ensure that your child is present on testing days (see below) and avoid scheduling appointments during the testing block (8:30-10:10am). Thank you!
April 17th-April 18th - Science Testing for 5th Only
April 23rd-April 25th - ELA Testing for 3rd-5th
April 30th-May 2nd - Math Testing for 3rd-5th
iReady testing will follow CAASPP testing - May 13th for math and May 15th for reading.
Bookmobile
The Bookmobile will be back at Landels on Thursday, March 14th from 11:45-1:00pm (see calendar). The Bookmobile will be back on the blacktop by the lunch tables. Students can check out books from the Bookmobile with their library card. If your child plans to visit the Bookmobile after school on Thursday AND you are picking them up by car, please plan ahead and make sure to park your car so as not to hold up the pick-up line.
CSMA Art Show Volunteers for Open House
We are looking for volunteers to help set up the Art Show in the MUR. Please fill out the Art Show Volunteer Form if you are available to help during the week of March 18th, even if you are only available for a few hours.

Better Together: March
In the month of March, #BetterTogether is taking a moment to honor the women trailblazers who shattered barriers and paved the way for future generations. As a way of honoring them, students in the district will also be learning about what it means to embody the spirit of being helpers for others, especially for others facing challenges and inequities. By standing #BetterTogether and amplifying the voices of women, we honor their legacy and continue to strive for a better world. For more information about Better Together, visit mvwsd.org/BetterTogetherMVWSD.
